Situated in the southern part of the city, Historic Westminster is only a ten minute drive to downtown Denver, and 20 minutes to Boulder, with US Highway 36 bisecting the area. Residents also enjoy the first FasTracks commuter rail station right in their own neighborhood. RTD’s B Line offers non-stop 11-miniute service to Denver Union Station, as well as frequent bus service.

South Westminster offers an ideal location for specialty or niche businesses. Small businesses can benefit from lower lease rates and still be located only minutes from their customers. Additionally, many of the classic style homes in south Westminster sell for much less than a comparable house in nearby northwest Denver.
Momentum continues in the revitalization of the historic cornerstone of Westminster. New housing construction, shopping center enhancements, attractive streetscapes, park development, and commuter train service have set the stage for transforming the once declining area into an attractive and desirable part of the city. Since the late 1990’s more than $250 million has, and is, being invested in this area of Westminster by the City and other public agencies, and more than $60 million by developers.
