Through partnership, Adams County One Stop Career Centers serve the diverse needs of employers, job seekers and other customers with access to high quality, comprehensive workforce development, employment and training services.

Jefferson County Workforce Center is an innovative and comprehensive statewide job referral network funded through federal tax dollars. All services are free to employers and job seekers. The center serves Jefferson, Clear Creek and Gilpin counties.

DeVry partners with hundreds of organizations around the world to help offer employer education benefits. Their Employer Education Benefits program helps companies create customized training programs that are aimed at educating employees in market-responsive areas that serves their organizations’ needs.

FRCC’s career-technical students are internship-ready, and their career-technical graduates are job-ready. Additionally, their general-education students are interested in internships in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. FRCC Corporate & Workforce Solutions helps Colorado companies seeking customized skills training, consulting services, business development, and ongoing professional development.

Since 1989, the North Metro Denver Small Business Development Center (SBDC) has been dedicated to helping existing and new businesses grow and prosper by providing free and confidential consulting and no- or low-cost training programs. The main North Metro Denver SBDC office is located at Front Range Community College in Westminster. Satellite locations offering both consulting and training are located in Brighton, Broomfield and Commerce City. All locations provide free, confidential one-on-one business consulting and low-cost training.

Colorado FIRST grants are for companies relocating to Colorado or existing companies undertaking a major expansion. Existing Industry grants are designed for Colorado companies implementing new technology to remain competitive and keep jobs in the state. Approved training is for transferable job skills that support the company’s economic competitiveness by re-training workers in new skills, while enhancing the workers’ resumes and long-term employment opportunities.

The Colorado Office of Economic Development and International trade creates a positive business climate that encourages dynamic economic development and sustainable job growth. They advance the state’s economy through financial and technical programs and work to achieve and sustain a healthy Colorado economy.
